Mr. Amit Kumar Roy is a passionate academician and researcher in the domain of Computer Science, having over 4 years of teaching experience. He is currently serving as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Computer Science at Gurucharan University, Silchar and is engaged in teaching higher secondary, undergraduate and postgraduate students along with other academic development activities.
He is currently pursuing his PhD in Computer Science from Assam University. His research interests lie in the field of Machine Translation under the broad umbrella of Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning.
Mr. Roy has a strong academic foundation and has qualified the UGC-NET in Computer Science in 2024 and GATE in Computer Science in 2019. He has a master's degree (MSc) in Computer Science from Assam University, Silchar. His areas of interest are Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
He has attended several national and international conferences, seminars and workshops and has published more than 9 papers in journals, conference proceedings and book chapters. Mr. Roy has also delivered lectures and served as a resource person in seminars and workshops.
